If you have handed in the keys and the final inspection report has only green ticks, the payment of the deposit will be triggered.
The technical service will inform the debtor administration that the deposit can be returned. In most cases, the payment of the deposit must be made in consultation with the owner, as the deposit is on the owner's account. That is why it is difficult to indicate a payment date. We do our best to transfer the deposit to your account within 10 working days after termination of the rental agreement. For questions you can contact the debtor administration on 088-200 70 60 or debiteuren@nmg.nl.
If there are one or more crosses on the final inspection report, the payment of the deposit will be (temporarily) withheld.
The inspector has discussed with you in the house what needs to be done and this must first be completed. If you have any questions or comments regarding the final inspection, you can contact the inspection department on 088-200 70 50 or inspection@nmg.nl.
Refund in the meantime
No, the deposit cannot and may not be refunded in the interim or set off against the rent payment.
In some cases this is possible, but then this was discussed at the start of the contract and this is also clearly reflected in the lease.
If this is the case, you can contact the rental department on 088-200 70 20 or rent@nmg.nl.
