If you have handed in the keys and the final inspection report has only green ticks, the payment of the deposit will be triggered.

De technische dienst zal aan de debiteurenadministratie doorgeven dat de borg retour kan. In de meeste gevallen dient de uitbetaling van de waarborgsom in overleg met de eigenaar te gebeuren, aangezien de borg op rekening van de eigenaar staat. Daarom is het aangeven van een betaaldatum lastig. We doen ons best om de waarborgsom binnen 10 werkdagen na beëindiging van de huurovereenkomst op uw rekening te storten. If there are one or more crosses on the final inspection report, the payment of the deposit will be (temporarily) withheld.

The inspector has discussed with you in the house what needs to be done and this must first be completed. If you have any questions or comments regarding the final inspection, you can contact the inspection department on 088-200 70 50 or inspection@nmg.nl.

Refund in the meantime

No, the deposit cannot and may not be refunded in the interim or set off against the rent payment.

 

In some cases this is possible, but then this was discussed at the start of the contract and this is also clearly reflected in the lease.
